San Antonio’s liberal/leftist mayoral candidate, Gina Ortiz Jones, has made it clear that she is more interested in being part of the Democrats’ “resistance” against President Trump and Governor Greg Abbott instead of addressing the issues of the city.

In a recent debate with Republican opponent Rolando Pablos, the liberal/leftist Ortiz Jones said her election “would be a strong rebuke of the Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and President Donald Trump.” She said she will oppose policies such as school vouchers, voting restrictions, and the state’s almost-total abortion ban. “I would be a mayor that is very vocal at the federal level and the state level,” she said.

How does that help the citizens of San Antonio? What about the city’s daily street, sidewalks, water, and energy needs? What about crime, the liberal Bexar County District Attorney’s constant release of repeat offenders, and the police shortage?

Gina Ortiz-Jones is part of the radical, leftist national Democrats’ plan to create “resistance” centers in the cities and create social, economic, and political chaos. San Antonio’s citizens and voters must reject her at the polls.

Early voting is May 27 through May 30 and June 2 through June 3, with polling locations closed that weekend. Election day voting is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 7.
