Shameless Mayorkas Avoids Accountability

Shameless Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas visited the Mexico/Arizona border on Wednesday, June 26, to tout the decrease in illegal alien numbers after President Biden took executive action on asylum processing three weeks ago. However, the criticism was quick and factual, particularly after recent news reports of terrorists and murders.

Mayorkas said arrests for illegal aliens have fallen more than 40% since the Biden executive order went into effect to stop migrants from seeking asylum. He defended the border vetting procedures — even while acknowledging at least eight ISIS-linked terrorist suspects managed to slip through U.S. custody and enter the country.

However, Border Patrol agents quickly responded skeptically, saying Wednesday’s statements show he lives in “fairytale land.” They criticized the agency leaders for not properly vetting the background of illegal aliens who are paroled into the U.S.

Even the liberal MSNBC questioned Biden and Mayorkas’s position on border security. MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski questioned Mayorkas about reporting of potentially dangerous migrants illegally crossing the southern border into the U.S. Brzezinski asked, “Is it “really working?”

The murders committed by illegal alien criminals have also exposed the Democrats’ “politics-first” attitude and how they are deflecting the blame and responsibility. Mayorkas claimed “only the criminal” is to” blame for the murder of a 12-year-old girl in Houston, not the Biden border policy. In Houston, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, an ultra-liberal Democrat, dismissed the murder by saying, “Murder “happens regardless of immigration status.”

However, these terrorists and illegal alien criminals would not be in the country except for Biden’sBiden’sred border. The public safety of all American citizens and their communities is at risk, thanks to his administration’s leftist policies.

Biden and Mayorkas accept zero accountability. It is like the owner of a chicken coop who refuses to secure the chickens during the day or at night but then blames the predators and animal control agents when his chickens are killed.

America must have secure borders and must have a strictly controlled immigration system. Illegal immigration and unsecured borders affect our public safety and national security.
